Hot Wheels
Tyler bought Dylan a wall mounted race track and extra cars to keep him occupied in case we lose power (hopefully we won't). Dylan has recently gotten into cars hard core. He carries them everywhere in Cars (the Disney movie) themed Halloween bucket.
This house will be filled with cars, dinosaurs, trains, animal figurines, sports equipment and that's fine by me! Tyler asked if that was better than dolls, doll houses, tea sets and I said YES :-)
Wooden
With Sandy approaching I felt we needed to get home earlier than expected on Sunday. We bought our supplies up there since we had heard there was nothing left back home. Before we left, Ty brought me over to a covered bridge that he thought I would like to take pictures of.
He gets bonus points!
Four 3 and Under
Here is the reason we visited.
Looking forward to going back in December for the twins 1st birthday! Praying no one is sick!
Sparklers
While at the Vermont Country Store I picked up some sparklers for Ty. I won't let him have fireworks so this is this the closest thing to them.
Dylan watched from inside. We have about 9 more boxes of them!

Black Rock
Karli had to work the night shift last night so me and my boys went out for a nice steak dinner. It's make-up for his birthday. It's place was recommended by Eric and Karli where they serve you whatever cut steak quickly seared on both sides on a 1000 degree black rock that continues to cook the steak as you eat. You let it continue to cook on the black rock tip it's cooked to you liking.
2 Girls and a little boy
Karli and I had a chance to catch up. We took Brennan with us and head to Chester for some lunch at the Fullerton Inn. We left the other 3 boys at home with the husbands.
After a yummy lunch we headed to the Vermont Country Store.
We bought some candy, jam and sparklers then headed home. Nice little outing.

Vermont's Scene
While we waited to start the trick-o-treating I took advantage to shoot some pictures with some nice scenery.
Need to start printing these pictures out!
Trick-o-trick practice
Our first stop was at Eric's job for their office trick-o-treat for the kids. He works in a room with about 100 other people all in cubicles. It was an easy stop and treat! Everyone had candy at their desks so we had Dylan get his first experience in the Halloween tradition. Last year we stopped by my grandparents and parents just so they could see him in his outfit. This year depending on hurricane Sandy we may try to get him out and knocking on some doors.
Dylan had a great time, got lots of candy mommy and daddy can munch on the drive home Sunday and he even met a big person size pooh.
FINALLY!
No parties. No events. No one is sick. Soooo it's Vermont we go!! We've been trying to go since the early summer and have had no luck with at least 4 cancelations.
I drove the whole way up and made the best time ever! This is a much needed weekend away!
