1st Mother's Day

Today was my first Mother's day.  The plan was to go to church for a special mother's day mass and blessing, go to brunch with my parents then go to jenkinson's aquarium and walk around beach in Point Pleasant.  Unfortunately Tyler was admitted to the hospital on Saturday and will be there for a few days.  My goal for the day was to spend it with my boys no matter what!  I was allowed to bring Dylan to the hospital so that made things start off great!

Couldn't be any truer of a statement!

We got ready and off we went to Philly.  As we walked the hall of the transplant floor, the female nurses couldnt' get enough of Dylan.  He's such a flirt especially when he raises his eyebrows, eyes wide open and gives you that smirk smile.  Tyler was very happy to see us and got to interact with Dylan for a bit.

After I came up from getting some lunch I see this HUGE arrangement of gorgeous flowers all my favorite! Tyler had them deliver flowers for me at the hospital! His nurse came in and was all smiles waiting for me to get back so she could see them close up.

Aren't they beautiful!

Did I mention that on top of these beautiful flowers, my wonderful husband got me Yankees v. Red Sox Tickets for next Saturday?!?! Hopefully he will be out of the hospital and in good enough shape to go!  This will be our first time going to the new Yankee Stadium! I'm so excited Tyler will tell you I cried when he told me about the tickets!

Dylan and I played, napped, ate and screamed while Tyler took a few naps to get some much needed rest.  We watched movies and the Yankees game.

We tried to eat my apple and instead slobbered all over it.

It was getting late and we needed to get home.  Before we got home I decided to stop by my parents to wish my mother a Happy Mother's Day (in person).  It was a quick visit, but worth it.  I got more flowers (I LOVE FLOWERS!) and a wonderful smelling beach candle from my sister.

The day was not what I expected, but it was still a good day because I spent it with the 2 most important people I love in my life.  Looking forward to Father's Day!
