Breakfast Island

I've been wanting to clean up the dining room and start eating there more but in order to do so Tyler felt we needed to change the breakfast bar area. This is what he did.

It no longer sticks out, gives more space and we can even eat on it. We just need to organize the cabinets & clean up a bit more. We can also put our dining table back long ways. Another project finished...

Baby Boy Shane

Last weekend was a long one for me.  Saturday was Yuula's party and Sunday Dylan and I had a baby shower for a friend of ours, Jessica, from softball.  Jess and her partner, Kelly, are having a boy due Oct. 11 (10-11-12).  Jess has helped us out a lot with Dylan and with Bronx.  When Tyler had his transplant, she came over with Kelly to take Bronx out and poor thing he peed all the way fromthe mud room to the kitchen and she cleaned it all up. She also watched Dylan during softball games and at home.  Jess is also a big NY Yankee and NY Giants fan.  Her baby shower was a surprise and at another softball girl's house.  Here is a little of the party.

 

Great gifts and great friends! Can't wait to meet the little guy!

Yuula's 2nd

Yesterday was Yuula's 2nd birthday party.  We went up a bit early, but unfortunately couldn't stay too late. The little ones played and we watched Yuula watch Dylan pull out her presents from us.  I took a ton of pictures but am only putting some highlights on here.  I'll put the rest on Facebook.  and when I have more time i'll put them on snapfish.

Padrinho visits Avon

My cousin, Milton, and his family came to Avon on Friday night to visit and hang out.  It was a nice night out and Dylan had more people to dance with.

Everyone had a great night.  Only one friday night left at Avon with the Ragtimers.

Charlie's

Thursday night we headed to Charlie's Homemade Ice Cream to meet up with Dani and Vic and Kyle and Roe to watch the Ragtimers.  Had some yummy ice cream and did a little dancing.

Big Mouth

While I took some pictures of the new playground, Bronx was watching what was going on.  He didn't like the camera being pointed at him and this is how he reacted.

Red Yard

Tyler has worked very hard building Dylan's playground in the backyard (fenced in area).  This is so we can sit outside with him and not have him running off the yard.  The dogs cannot get in either. 

I'm very proud of my husband for finishing the project and doing such a fantastic job.  There is still plenty of room for more outdoor toys and games.  Off to look on craigslist and toys r us for more stuff.  I've already seen a few I like!
