Look what I splurged on!

It's a Canon Rebel T2i with lens! Its 18MP, light and easy to use. I've been wanting a nice new digital camera for the longest time! I've thought about taking classes as well. I'm so excited I can hardly wait to use it!

Our Little Cowboy

As you may know, Dylan's favorite movie is Toy Story 3. He has Woody & Buzz Lightyear stuffed guys & has been asking for a hat. Well... Referring to Woody's hat & pointing to his head. So I was able to find a cowboy hat today.

It didn't wear at first but he's getting used to it. He's so adorable! We know what someone's going to be for Halloween!

Birthday Spree

For my birthday my mother gave me a blank gift card to her stores at the outlets. She explained that meant a shopping spree. The stipulation - girls day out and I could only look at stuff for me.

Since Dylan was sick & we canceled our weekend trip to Hershey, I asked my mother if we could go shopping today. It was me, my mother & grandmother. We headed out to the Jackson outlets & went to Bass and Tommy Hilfiger. Thank goodness my mother works for those companies & gets 40% everything!

I got 5 t-shirts, a long sleeve casual shirt, a dress (yes I picked out a dress), 2 hippy style shirts (not like me but they looked nice), 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of dress pants, 2 tanks, 5 sweaters (thin not heavy), pair of sandals, work shoes & water sneakers (shoes were buy 1 get 2 free!)

After we went shopping we went to eat at JB's Diner just down the road. Cute little place set in the 60's. Cash only joint with delicious burgers.

My mother & grandmother felt it was time I think about me for a change hence the shopping spree for me. I'm very appreciative for what they got me. I took that advice & bought myself a birthday gift. You will see what when it comes in Monday!

Triassic, Jurassic & Cretaceous

My appointment canceled on my yesterday as I was heading down there so I decided to take the rest of the day (2 hours) off. I pulled into the toys r us/babies r us stores by my office & went in. I had to restrain myself from buying up the joint. I bought Dylan (and daddy) a new set.

More Food

Today was another family filled day. We went out for breakfast with my parents, brittany and grandparents to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Went to a new diner, Town and Country. Packed! We went home to take the dogs out, let Dylan nap before we headed out to our next party for my little cousin, Dino, who turned 5.

The kids played well together and there was even a female clown who performed magic tricks, sang farm & circus songs and balloon animals. Kristina made an awesome cake and delicious cake.

Love having a big extended family but could cut down on the food intake.

Sangria and Paella

Today was the annual Sangria and Paella party at my cousin, Raquel's, house.  We went last year and it was yummy! Upon arrival they had a bunch of appetizers from tortilla (no not the chips), homemade Spanish style potato salad, cooked shrimp with the heads on, pork kabobs, ceviche, prosciutto on bread and of course free flowing straight from Spain Sangria.  It was catered by a Paella Party restuarant.  They have flamenco dancing and music.

Dylan had fun with the family and we ate everything! It promted me to buy some Spanish Sangria earlier today as well.  Tomorrow we have breakfast with my parents and grandparents for my birthday and anniversary then a birthday party for my little cousin, Dino.  We are pooped!

Ladies Man

Friday night we went out to Pete and Elda's Pizza to meet up with Eric and his new fiance, Christina.  It was my first experience with the extremely thin pizza Tyler has been raving about.  Not bad.  Even though the weather was not the best, we still headed to Avon for the show.  Eric and Christina joined us and loved the show.  The mansion they are getting married in has a 20's theme to it.  Here's what went on that night with my little man and his new older girlfriend.
