Today we joined my cousins at iplay America in Freehold. It's a new indoor amusement park that is like point pleasant but indoors. It had lazer tag, bumper cars, go karts, kid bowling, boardwalk games, boardwalk food, candy store, 4D theater, restaurant, kid rides, etc. Every game and ride cost "points" that you can purchase on a card you swipe. They have different packages you can get or you buy $5 for "general admission" and it can go towards anything like food or games. It was a fun and everyone had a great time. It's definitely for older kids or at least those 36" tall. Here are a few pictures of how the day went.

Dylan pooped out before we left, but he had a great time. Next time we will probably go to JerZJump possibly next month.

Prank Call

No Contact

Today Dylan was finally able to get his MMR & chicken pox shots. The 1st time he was sick & the 2nd time we had to check with the liver team to see how to approach this as both are live vaccines. Tyler was told by his coordinator that he was not allowed to have contact with Dylan for 2 weeks! Sucks! The Vaccines can be transmitted through his dirty & wet diapers & even saliva. Therefore I have coverage for the next 2 weeks to help watch Dylan.

Dylan is otherwise on target developmentally! He's 29 3/4in and weighs 21lbs. Oh and Tyler went to see Dr. Birnbaum today and she was very happy to see how well Tyler was doing & looked! I have some good healthy boys! Now if I can only get over this cold/sinus congestion I'll be happier!

Happy Valentine's Day

This year we were able to celebrate Valentine's day at home since last year Tyler was unfortunately in the hospital. I asked Ty to make a nice dinner and we eat it at the dining room table. He cleaned up the room & table. He made London broil with mashed potatoes and salad and some sparkling apple cider. All candle lit! He's so romantic & sweet!

JerZJump

Tyler and I have been looking at places to take Dylan to socialize and get some exercise. We looked at Gymboree, Little Gym and the YMCA. Though we plan to enroll him in one of those classes I found JerZJump. It's like moon bounce central with a toddler section with soft padded toys. We decided to go today and check it out. Not only was it huge, but it was cheap! We only had to pay for Dylan and he cost $5! He was only allowed to go into the toddler section because he was not tall enough togo on the jungle gym or moon bouncers alone. They had an arcade, party rooms with more moon bouncers and obstacle courses plus a snack bar.

Dylan loved it & this just may be a possibility for Dylan's next birthday party location. We will be making multiple trips a month!

Lost & Found

Wanna hear a funny story? Well last thursday I arrived home with Dylan to find Tyler outside in the dark with a flashlight with a sad look on his face. He lost his wedding band! I brought Dylan in & spent close to 2 hours looking for it inside & out with no luck! We called shop rite & pet smart to see if he dropped it there & possibly someone found it. No luck. The next day I had to go to Jared's to get my engagement ring fixed so I had Ty look at wedding bands. I told him I would get one for valentine's day. I ordered a triton titanium black wedding band supposedly very popular & almost indestructible.

I put down a deposit & placed the order. These rings are not resizable. They cannot be cut or melted to make bigger or smaller, but if that's the case a new ring would need to be ordered for a small price. Tuesday came along and I went into to the freezer to get my lunch. As I picked up the Mac & Cheese I saw something shiny! Can u spot it?

I yelled for Ty to come over & see what I found. It took him a few minutes but once he saw the ring his jaw dropped & eyes lit up with so much happiness! I found his ring! He was rearranging the freezer & it must've slipped off & fell. You may be thinking what about the new ring I purchased. Well he still wanted it & it came in today! I picked it up & he couldn't wait to wear it!

Looks good! Happy Early Valentine's Day to my wonderful husband! No worries the old ring is being kept in a safe place!

No Mess

Been meaning to get Dylan the crayola markers that only color on that certain paper. Was at shop rite getting a few things & spotted those markers! Now Dylan can color & he won't make a mess coloring anything else but that paper!

Matching

On my way to work Monday morning I stopped by Modell's to pick up some Giants Championship gear. I got Ty a shirt the last time, but unfortunately when we went off-roading in Mexico for our honeymoon, someone stole the shirt that was hanging on our balcony drying off. So I bought the 3 of us all matching shirts.
