So today was my 30th birthday. I'm starting to feel old maybe it's because my loving husband keeps telling me how old I am & how I'm a cougar because he's younger than me. It doesn't help that he got me a card that said "Happy 50th" (though that was not the real card). Well Tyler had a dr appointment this morning so dylan was dropped of at my grandparents and I went to work til 12pm. Picked up Dylan, changed clothes & the 3 of us headed to Atlantic City for dinner. I didn't know what to pick & Tyler said he had never been to the Tropicana Casino so there we went. We looked at all the menus & picked Cuba Libre.

Dinner was delicious! We had sweet plantains & Plato Gaucho for 2, which consisted of 2 jumbo shrimp, 2 pieces of chorizo (Spanish Sausage), 2 pieces of chicken breasts, large skirt steak & long flank steak with white rice & black beans. YUMMY! After all that we had dessert. I had Cuban style rice pudding & Tyler had some chocolate tart with dulce de leche ice cream.

Here is the one drink I had - red sangria. Very good! It was the 2nd alcoholic drink I've had in about 2 years. Dylan was checking everything & everyone out during dinner.

It was a good afternoon. Long ride, but worth it because I was with my boys. Nothing beats that! Here is a picture from above of part of the Quarter at the Tropicana.
