We were impressed Dylan stayed up past midnight. Mommy and daddy took their naps before midnight rang. He even had some sparkling cider.
Happy New Year Everyone! Hope 2013 brings you all you desire.

Ice Cream and Pretzles
Went out to get some pretzels for the Estler tradition and watch some football. Even got Dylan some soy ice cream since we took him off dairy. The tradition lasted about 15 minutes. The boys are taking their naps and I'm watching HGTV and playing on the iPad.

Ballingers
Tonight we were invited by my cousin, Dana, and her family to their home for dinner. Baked ziti and strawberry cheesecake yum! The kids exchanged Christmas gifts (2 cousin kids down 8+ more to go) and had a great time hanging out. Dana's husband was even able to pick up Dylan and play with him without Dylan freaking out! Always a great time getting together with them!

Christmas Day - Afternoon
This year we hosted Tyler's side for Christmas. Tyler did a fantastic job cooking just about everything yesterday and it was delicious! I'm not the home ec kind of a woman. I don't really cook much, I don't bake unless its Pillsbury cookies or banana bread. I'm very proud of the great job my husband did yesterday! Here is what the afternoon edition consisted of.
Vic tested out the dog guitar Travis & family got for Dylan.
Aunt Dani & Uncle Vic working with Dylan on the Buzz Lightyear Potatohead.
Played some trivial pursuit DVD style from the 90's
It was a great ending to a great day. Looking forward to seeing what 2013 brings for us.
Christmas Day - Morning
As you know my mother's birthday is the the day of Christmas. Tyler and I made the decision before thanksgiving that would we split our day between both families Christmas Day. The morning with my family the afternoon with his. The last two years have been successful I think. Here is the morning edition.
It appears someone was very good this year as they got a laptop that turns into a tablet.
Scott's yearly gift for my mother - her chocolate covered strawberries. She is allergic but is allowed 1 a day.
Chose to put a small box in a bigger box with lots of paper. Wasn't going to make it easy
A great start to the Christmas Holiday.
