Short Carnival

Last night we went to the annual St. Greg's Carnival within town. They had a special $20 unlimited rides. We got it for Dylan and things started off great.

Then when we tried to take him on another ride they measured him & said he was too short by 1/2 inch! He had rode all the other rides and now he was too short. We tried to bring him back to the previous ride and all of a sudden he was too short for that too. Our poor kid was so upset we ended up playing 2 kiddie games and left. He didn't even ride enough rides to pay for the unlimited pass. I have been going to this carnival since I've lived here and was very disappointed. Poor kid got my shortness. At least he enjoyed the rides he got to go on.

Mini Golf on the Farm

For Father's Day Tyler wanted to go play some mini golf & hit some balls off the driving range. We knew we were going to have time on Father's Day so we went last night. We went to a place in Morrisville, PA right by where I play softball called Snipes Farm. Yes it's a garden center that has a huge golf center called Double Eagle Golf: 2 mini gold courses, pitch & put & driving range. We did the mini golf courses first.

Then we decided to hit some long balls on the driving range.

We all had fun especially Dylan. It was his first time playing. Oh if you are wondering who won in mini golf.... Me :-) We are a very competitive couple. Woohoo!!

RIP Beta Dylan

This morning Tyler found Beta Dylan stuck to the filter and all white. Tyler had bought another tank this time a 10 gallon tank. He had bought some shrimp to help clean and most of those died too along with some tetra fish. Not sure what fish Tyler is going to get now.

1-10

This may not seem like much, but it's very big in our home.  Dylan is talking so much more and we are so happy and proud.  Tyler has been working so hard with Dylan to increase his vocabulary and pronunciation.  Now Dylan doesn't stop talking haha.

Battle Wound

Yesterday I played a double header softball games & in the top of first inning of the 1st game a hard line drive short hopped & hit my leg. It instantly bruised & turned red. It hurt like hell the rest of the evening but I sucked it up and played through it. We lost the first game but won the second. Once I got home my leg tightened up and everything from my knee down was in pain. Took a hot shower to help it along. Today I'm still in some pain but not as bad as yesterday. No pain no gain!

Accident Free Day

Today Dylan has been accident free with potty training! We haven't been training him that long. He's spent half of the day in one pull-up and in regular underwear. He's been asking to go all day without an accident. Granted its been every 5 minutes but thats ok! He's been asking here and there but last night and today have been very successful! Keep this consistency and hopefully he stays on this path to diaper free with money in our pockets from lack of diaper purchasing!!

Here he is in his Disney Pixar toy story underwear. He loves them.

Dylan's New Home

Did you think I was talking about our son Dylan?! Nope!! Beta fish Dylan has a new tank with a Jeep and plenty of decorations to admire. Tyler did a good job picking it all out and will be getting some type of shrimp to help keep it clean.

Throwdown in the Bounce House

Dragon Coaster

Bear Twirl

1st Carnival

After Dylan's nap we decided to head over to the NJ DARE carnival at Mercer County Park. It wasn't as big as expected but it was free to park & get in. We bought some ride tickets and he rode his first roller coaster. Most of the pictures are on my camera.

This picture is my favorite. He also got his face painted for the first time. At first he didn't like it, but once he looked into a mirror he smiled and really liked the shark on his face. He picked out the shark instead of a car.

Fun Family Day. Love it!

Dylan's Dylan

Sunday was action packed. Well maybe not action but fun and eventful. In the morning we were going to head to Englishtown, but decided to go to Columbus Flea Market instead. We got some great deals on a bunch of new things and then we found a new friend for Dylan.

This here is "Dylan." Yes this red male beta fish's name is Dylan. Who named him but our son Dylan. We made many Disney name suggestions such as McQueen and Peter Pan and Mac, but that didn't stick. Tyler is in the works in finding a bigger tank, filter, light, more fish, etc. I think he found something so we'll see. It will replace his TV/DVD player on his dresser.
