Space Ship

Some more improvement in Dylan's speech.

He has tested out of Early Interventin and they were impressed with his tremendous improvement in his testing.  They will continue with services twice a month rather than once a week until he is 3.  From there if we feel the need we will go through the school district.  Still some getting used to with some words, but once you realize what he says you hear it.  Very proud of him and daddy for doing such a great job!

After a Loooong Car Ride

This is what happens when Dylan is cooped up in a car for too long!!

May need to hold off on any long drives for a um while!

Last day in VT

While Ty was fishing, Eric went to work and Nathan went to school, Karli and I had the 3 boys. We hung out at the home and let them get some energy out. Took some more pics before we headed out.

Though it was quiet all around the boys kept the noise volume at an all time loud haha. It was good to see them play. We may need to let the winter go by before we go up again because their new house is up a dirt/rock hill we will never get up in our cars. Not a fan of the winter season.

Crazy Chaos

This is what it's like to have 4 boys all under the age of 4! Fun to watch, but CRAZY! YIKES! You may want to lower the volume before playing the videos!!

New Home in VT

This past weekend we went to VT to see Karli and crew. It's been a long time since we were last up there. Not sure if we've been up there this year. Either way they moved into a new bigger home about 10 miles north of their previous home (which is now being rented by her mother in law). Huge lot, huge deck, bigger bedrooms & man cave in the basement. We arrived sat afternoon & hung out after a long drive. The next day we went to a fair in Cornish, NH. There were rides, games, food, cows, tractors, cows and tractors (yes I know I repeated those last too).

After we saw everything & I got nauseous from the cow poop smell we headed back to the house where we hung out the rest of the evening.

Had to get a picture of me and my godson, Brennan! Nice day not too hot, but it was cold first thing in the morning and at night. Ty had gone fishing each day.

Food Trucks

After the park and lunch yesterday we met up with Grandparents Estlers at Laurita Winery for the Gourmet Food Truck Invitational. It was packed!! Thousands there with tents, blankets, picnic set ups, etc. People carrying around wine bottles & glasses. Wine tasting, wood carving, horse rides. We each went to a different truck for food. Tyler went to a bistro place that has a restaurant near us, not sure where anyone else went and I went to the Puerto Rican truck for some chorizo sliders. I was in line for about 40 min and I changed my order to Maduros (fried plantains), chorizo empanada and chicken empanada. Was disappointed with the chorizo empanada but the rest was yummy!

After we ate & checked out the barn salvaged stuff we headed indoors to the gorgeous ballroom and had some red sangria. We had a great afternoon. Something to think about doing next year. Looking at other events to attend there or at other wineries/vineyards.

Morning with Mommy

We were supposed to go to Hershey Park yesterday til today, but our roof had other ideas. It wasn't something that needed $$$ to fix so that was good! Grandpa Estler helped out Tyler and fixed the roof. Now we just need new insulation & Sheetrock in the dining room/kitchen. Instead we stayed home and while Tyler worked outside I took Dylan to the park to get him tired for our afternoon outing. We played on the swing sets and slides. He also learned about throwing rocks into the stream.

Then we went for a walk and found some military vehicles.

It was a nice morning! Need to do it more often.

2nd Movie Attempt

We have been looking forward for Disney's Planes movie to come out to try again with taking Dylan to the movies. We bought him some of the main character planes from the movie and he saw the previews a million times so I think this time we were more prepared.

He was still nervous with the big screen, but this time we sat at the very top row.

SUCCESS! He sat through the whole movie and enjoyed it! He would play with his plays trying to act the parts. There are a couple other movies we saw in the previews we may attempt later on this year. Very happy this worked out & he enjoyed himself.

Dinosaur scaring Dinosaur

Jurassic Park

I had bought tickets for the Fields Station: Dinosaurs exhibit in Secaucus, NJ from LivingSocial. It was a little less than half price and couldn't pass up on it. Tickets are normally $25! We knew they had life size animatronic dinosaurs, but wasn't sure what to expect. It's located off exit 15X off the turnpike ($7.55 one way toll insane!). You can see parts of it from the highway, but its tucked in a park covered by trees. We had Dylan dressed the part.

We took to the trail and at first Dylan was scared to come close to any of the dinosaurs. Dylan had brought one his toy dinosaurs and Tyler told him to use it to scare off the others by roaring at them. It seemed to work because he was able to get up close and "scare" them lol Here are some of the dinosaurs. The rst of the pictures are on Facebook.

It was a great morning. They had shows, dig sites for the kids, a 3D movie, etc. we'll definitely be going back! Hopefully there is another deal again.

Memorized

Dylan's favorite movie (for now) is Disney's Pixar Wall-E.  He watches it at least once a day if not twice.  It's a great movie and not much speaking in it. Dylan has gotten to the point where he memorizes parts of the movie and we were amazed how he acted out the part without having to look at the movie and it on point with the movie!! I decided to take a video of him acting out the part.  He does look at the movie for a few seconds but as you can see he was acting out the part already when he looked at the movie.

He has done this with other movies, but this was the best! He picks up on these movies so quickly and can tell you what happenes before it happens.  Can't wait to see how he reacts when he sees some of these characters in person.

32 and 4

I turned 32 on the 12th. Just another day and another year older. I wasn't planning on taking the day off from work but I did because I got picked to serve on a jury that would fall on our anniversary. We had planned to go to sesame place that day. Oh well. It was a gloomy cooler day so no sesame place but instead the adventure aquarium.

It was a great day. I was supposed to play some softball that evening, but that got canceled as well with the lovely down pour. The nice dinner was the day before because of my game. So instead we had some pizza :-) here are some pictures from the day.

The next Friday was our anniversary and I had the last day of jury duty. If you want to know what happened you can ask but I'm not posting about it. After the trial was done and I got home we went out to Oliver Garden for dinner. We had a gift card and its one of Ty's favorites. Come to find out the wife of a friend of mine from softball is the manager there and she took care of the bill!! Very thankful and appreciative. Nice night out with my boys.

Bella's 6th

Today was a discombobulated day. We were invited to yet again 2 family bday parties (opposite sides this time) in opposite directions plus I was supposed to have my playoff softball game. Well we went to Bella's party because they invited us first and we ended up going earlier because I had to leave early enough for my game. 1/3 of the way home from the party and I get a call saying the game was canceled. Go figure! Here's some highlights of the party.

Dylan did great in the pool as did everyone else.

Infinity and Beyond

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!

I'm beyond excited and it's less than 2 month away!! Plus I get to use this what Ty got for me for our anniversary.

Yup I'm going to try & look for all 1000+ hidden mickeys in all the parks!! Yes I'm a Disney nerd and I don't care what anyone says :-)
