Driveway Chase

This is one of those moments you will never forget and glad you were there to see it and record it. How often do you see a child playing with his great-grandfather?

Englishtown

Dylan was feeling better with no fevers so we decided to hit up Englishtown. We brought Bronx with us to try and socialize him more. We must've been asked at least 50 times "what kind of dog is that?!" There were even grown men scared and moving away from Bronx.

We quickly spotted a wagon & decided to snatch it up. It was in pretty decent condition.

The wagon helped a lot because Dylan kept stopping to pick up rocks an we all know Englishtown is covered in rocks! We would've never been able to do anything.

We walked around more and right before we left we spotted Buzz Lightyear. Dylan's new favorite movie is Toy Story 3. The second we showed him Buzz he smiled and reached for it.

Worth the $5! All in all we had a nice family outing on a nice day. Love it!

62nd

We went out with Grandparents Estlers to dinner at Red Robin for Grandpa's birthday. After a nice yummy dinner, we headed over to AT&T to pick out a new phone for grandma.

Icy hot

So I had my 2nd game tonight and we won again 28-15. This time I kicked butt at bat! I was 5 for 5 with 3 singles, a double and another 3-run homerun! I'm starting the season off great! Unfortunately I'm in awful pain again with my left shoulder. In need of some icy hot and a massage from my wonderful husband! As Tyler would say I'm old! Boys stayed home tonight with little man being sick. Hopefully next week my favorite fans will be there!

New Season

Tonight was my first softball game of the season. Had a nice falling catch in the 1st inning, which I think is why my shoulder hurts now. Hitting started off slow for me, but then I went 2 for 4 with a single & 3-run homerun.

This was right before I hit the homerun.

It was close but we won 21-20! The called the game due to darkness. Thank god because I couldn't see the ball at the end. I'm a little sore but not as much as I thought. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. My shoulder is killing me! Time for bed!

New Hardware

We are finally up with the times in my office! We have updated software as in the most recent Microsoft! We were still running on rich text form with word. Crazy! We were given new laptops, flat screens, keyboards & wireless mouses. We are allowed to bring the laptops home with new bags and work on them when we have a late night & court the next day. The laptops have gps tracking systems.

Nightly Routine

You can tell when little man gets tired when all he wants to do is take my iPhone or iPad to watch classic Disney cartoons.

T said the cameras couldn't keep up with us during the walk because we were walking so fast. Everything was a blur lol

Walking Awareness

Today we did our first family walk at the 17th Annual Dash for Organ & Tissue Donor Awareness in Philly. Tyler was a good sport and walked it...at a fast pace of course. It rained a bit on the way there but the weather held out. This year they had the largest turnout ever!

Woohoo we did it! We finished the race in record time. Sorta. I feel good knowing I took part in something special and supportive.

I Get 1

Today I got a call from Karli. She had an important question to ask me: if I would be godmother to one of the twins!! WOOHOO! Of course i said yes!! I have 2 goddaughters in Brittany and Mikaela & now I'll have my first godson in either Parker or Brennan. I felt so special and happy to have been asked! The baptism is May 20 here in NJ. Looking forward to it!!

Day of Risen

Today was Dylan's 2nd Easter. Nothing big happened in our house. No egg hunts, no baskets. We're boring. I took Dylan to church with me this morning. We hadn't been there in a while and it was nice to go. Not a lot of music or people in the 8am service like there is at 10am. After church we relaxed then got ready to go to my grandparents for lunch. Here's Dylan's Easter outfit.

He didn't last very long before passing out on the way there. Poor thing. Lunch was yummy as usual and dessert was decent. Then it was time for Dylan to open some baskets.

After baskets we packed up the car with gifts, flowers & leftovers to head home to see grandparents Estlers. There Dylan got more Easter gifts. We hung out for a while til everyone got tired.

Good but long day. What's the next event?
