1st Card

Tuesday Dylan went to my grandparents for the day for the first time in a while. He saw the crayons & paper and asked her for them. She put him at the table and he went to town! He drew mommy a nice card. It's now hanging in my office! I love it!

Baby Face

Tyler finally shaved the other night!!! Woohoo!! This is not the best picture but he won't let me take pictures of him.

2nd cut

Dylan needed his hair cut again so I asked my friend who has been cutting my hair for over 7 yrs now to see if she would. She was off today & offered to come over to our house and cut. He cried hysterically the whole time! Poor baby hope it wears off after a few more cuts with Heather.

Kick Wall

Tyler had the idea to build a kick wall he and Dylan to play soccer against. I believe it's 8ft high and 16ft wide. They got some use out of it yesterday. Our boy will be playing soccer like his mommy and daddy.

Routine

After I get home from work, I'll relax on the sofa for a bit and get me one Dylan time. He usually takes my iPhone and wants me to play a classic Mickey cartoon to watch. He loves the older ones better especially with Donald Duck.

This is my favorite time of day! Love my little man!

Family Tree

I've said in the past I have a large family and would one day put a chart together for you to understand better. Whether you will look or understand it is up to you. I will put up a chart from each side of my family and describe it.

Ok... My paternal grandparents are Lucas & Josefina Muniz. My grandfather passed away when I was in 7th or 8th grade. They have 3 kids, my aunts Jackie & Maria & one son my father, Luis. Jackie is married to Louie & have twins - Kaitlyn & Matthew. Maria has a daughter, Amanda, from her first marriage and is now married to Tony. My father had me with my mother & had my brother, Lucas, with his 2nd ex-wife.

My grandfather had a brother, Bernadino (who is also deceased) and married to my great aunt, America. They have 3 children; Raquel, Jose Manuel & Brian. Raquel is married to Jose Barros & have 2 children; Dana & Daniel. Dana is married to John & have 2 kids: Emma & Sammy. Daniel is married to Cynthia & they have 1 daughter, Isabelle. Jose Manuel is married to Merci & have 2 children: Alex & Samantha. Alex is married to Kristina and they have 2 boys: Tony & Dino. Samantha is married to Francisco and have 1 daughter, Solana. Brian is married to Ursula. They have 5 children but I don't know their names.

Got it??

My maternal grandparents are Dorinda & Manuel Silva. They only had my mother. My mother had me with my father & Brittany with Scott.

My grandmother has a brother, Tony, and Sister, Lydia here. Tony is married to Olga & have 2 daughters: Betsy & Lilliana (who will be married to Lino next summer). Lydia is married to Armando & have 2 kids: Ana & Nelson. Ana is married to Crhis and have 2 daughter: Alex & Mikaela. My grandfather has a sister, Gracinda (or Grace) but I don't remember what her husband's name is. They have 2 kids. Anabella & Pedro.

Now for the tricky one. My grandmother has a brother (don't remember his name) who is married to my grandfather's sister, Herminia. They have 1 kid, Milton. Milton is married to Danielle & have 2 girls: Olivia & Isabella.

Got it?

This does not include other cousins in Spain in Portugal. My godparents are Jackie & Brian.

Misc

I just counted over 10 postings! Hope this keeps you busy for a while. I think I covered everything.

Oops... Here's a pic of me and the birthday girl!

Tongue

Dylan has picked up on sticking his tongue out again. Love it!

New spike

Almost forgot about Tyler's decision to put Dylan's hair in a spike. He even put axe hair gel in his hair. Dylan's hair is too long so it didn't work as Ty thought.

My Tia

Dylan seemed to have fun and did well with my aunt (Ana's mom).

Mikaela's 3rd

Today was my goddaughter, Mikaela's, birthday party at Kidz Village in Woodbridge. It was our first time there. It was like a village with a little of everything. They had a jungle gym, supermarket, salon, a home, theater, cafe, tool shed and arcade. There was more but I can't remember right now.

After they played for a while they had pizza then played in the arcade.

Dylan had a great time and we will most definitely be back to Kidz Village to play again!

The D boys

Dylan had a fun time chasing Dino around the house.

Boy cousins

Saturday night we went over to my cousin, Alex's, house for dinner. His wife told me that she had boots for Dylan and it led to having dinner at their place in Middletown. They also invited my father. The boys had a good time and dinner was yummy!

Morning boys

This was Friday right before I left for work. Dylan was a bit fussy and I put him in our bed. They slept in that morning.

iPad

Dylan enjoys playing on the iPad. He's getting pretty good with the Grover monster book.

Dylan plays with dani

After we went to the park with dani, we went over to Roe's for a pizza dinner. After dinner, it was more Dylan and Auntie Dani bonding time.

Mud

Tyler thought it would be a great father-son bonding time to teach Dylan how to throw stones in a stream. Well... He did so well he started to throw other things.

Sticks

Dylan has learned about sticks... That's our boys!

Seesaw

We thought we'd try out the 4 seated seesaw.

Rita's

Can't go wrong with Rita's! We went after the park.

Dylan & Dani

The day before the 40th, we got to spend the beautiful day with Auntie Dani. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to our favorite local park.
