UFC 135

I thought we would treat ourselves to the UFC 135 fight saturday.  We hadn't ordered a fight in a while and last night's was a good one with a title fight in the 205 weight group.  While we watched the fights, this is how Dylan kept himself occupied.

Weekly

Lately I feel I have been going to Babies/Toys R Us every week for something.  It's been food for Dylan, clothes for Dylan, gifts for the recent kid parties, and toys for Dylan. Today we went to Toys R Us to check out a train table.  We thought he was too young for the one we wanted to get him this year so we checked out other toys.  Here is what we brought home

A talking basketball hoop, child piano and mini size maze thing that's at the pediatrician's office Dylan likes to play with.  Next week it will be something else and his birthday is coming up!  We are going to need a bigger house soon!

Progressively Messy

Dylan got messier as more of his food got on his table.

He got a bath afterwards.

Self Feeding

I thought I would let Dylan try out feeding himself with these new spoons I bought him.  He liked it so much he wouldn't let me take it away from him when things got... messy.

Yummy!

2nd Ride

This was Dylan's 2nd ride on a horse.  The first time was in July and that lasted 10 seconds.  This time Dylan went on and went around the barn at least 2 rounds.  Ali said he looked like a natural and he might be ready for some lessons.  I told her sure if she was paying.

Dylan definitely had fun, but we'll stick with sports instead of horses.

Happy 2nd Birthday Liam

Sept. 15 was Liam's 2nd birthday and today was his party.  Ali goes all out for her son and so his party this year was at the Victory Stables Horse Ranch in Colts Neck.  The kids got to ride on ponies and horses (the big kids like my sister), have pizza, ride a tractor hayride, paint a horse (yes i said paint) and eat cupcake birthday cake.  Here is what the afternoon looked like.

Though it was a bit humid and muddy it was a good afternoon and the kids had a great time, which is all that matters!

Alma Mater

I have been wanting to go see a soccer game at my old high school. I looked up their schedule & saw they were playing at the high school by our house & decided to go watch today. I brought Dylan with me.

We were told we were good luck because they won!

Daddy I want more

Tyler has learned he likes rice pudding. I love it but it has been disappearing very quickly. I bought more last night & Tyler brought out the tub thinking he could eat it in front of Dylan.

Looks like there is someone else who likes rice pudding.

Keansburg

Today we went to lunch at my aunt's house & then visited my cousin Daniel to meet his new baby, Isabelle. Dylan was intrigued to meet her. He kept wanting to touch her.

Blowing bubbles

Daniel's mother-in-law kept saying how it looks like Dylan wants a baby sister. I think mommy & daddy are good for now.
