Dylan was not eating his rice cereal so I figure giving him some bananas. Looks like Dylan likes bananas like his daddy!

Happy Birthday Mikaela

March 19, 2011 was my goddaughter, Mikaela's, birthday.  She turned 2!  It went so fast I remember when she was 4 months old at our wedding.  Here are some pictures of the party.

One day I went to visit Tyler at the hospital, Dylan went with Grandma and Grandpa Estler for the day. 

Grandma described this as "Grandpa climbing"???

Daddy's Home

On March 16, 2011 Tyler received a liver transplant. He is a new man now! This begins the new chapter in our lives as Tyler is on the road to recovery.  

This has made me change my view on organ donation.  I will be checking off the box on my drivers license!

Bottle Monger

Dylan started holding his bottle by himself recently. Once he sees his bottle he gets all excited & reaches out for it. I thought I'd let him try feeding himself & see how he does. It appears my boy is a quick learner.

Happy Birthday Tia Brittany

Today was Brittany's 11th Birthday!  We took Dylan for his 4 month check up and he gained 3lbs and grew 2 inches in 2 months.  He now weighs 14lbs 6oz and is 24 1/2in long.  He is 50% on each and right on target! 



After the doctor's we went out for breakfast at Mastori's Diner for Brittany's birthday with the family. 

Last we went to crash Brittany's kids' sleepover party.  It was Twilight themed and we do not envy my parents! LOL I'm very glad I have a boy :-)

4 Months

I put together Dylan's jeep walker yesterday & he seemed to enjoy it! I think Tyler loved it more that our son was "riding" in a jeep! This is only the beginning. My son will be a gear head like his father.

A Forchette Visit

This past Thursday, Dani and Vic came for a visit to see the whole family.  Dani and Vic got some much needed bonding time with Dylan while Tyler made a great London broil for dinner.  The next morning I unfortunately had to go to work, but the rest of them had texas toast french toast! 



We then met up at Grandma and Grandpa Estlers Saturday afternoon for a get together.  More bonding time with Dylan and even a milestone of Dylan's first baby laugh! 

A good time was had by all. 

Feet?

Dylan has recently been reaching out for his feet while getting his diaper changed.  He doesn't bring his feet to his mouth yet, but he grabs on them making it a bit difficult to change him.

1st Laugh

My boy belted out his first baby laugh last night while at grandma and grandpa Estlers'.  Grandpa Estler was playing with him.. well you can just watch it! I know I look crazy in the video, but I don't care my son laughed and I loved it!! 

Another milestone has come!  Next are his bottom teeth which should be coming in any day now!

Good Night Dylan

Last night I did my usual routine and went to put Dylan down for bed.  It appeared he had other plans and decided he wanted to play and talk instead. 

10 minutes after our conversation, I was able to get Dylan to go to sleep.  I enjoyed our little talk, but hopefully we could have those talks more during the day.

The mornings are the same everyday.  Dylan gets up between 6:30-7am, gets his diaper changed and then a bottle as we watch a variety of Disney Channel shows(Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Secret Agent OSO, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Handy Manny).  I wake up every morning with a smile and how could I not!  My boy wakes up with a smile and laughter every morning!  His smiles gets me going now that I'm back to work.
